I just got the measurements for my jr. BM (FH's niece, she lives out of the country). She just turned 10 and she is 5 feet tall. I just called the place where we are ordering the BM gowns to see what size she is. The woman said her measurements put her into a little girl 10 or 12, but her height pushes her into an adult size (a 6)
I can't wait to see if she grows anymore between now and the wedding. She is already as tall as one of my bridesmaids!!!

I have the same situation as you. My junior bridesmaid will be wearing the same gown as my bridesmaids, which actually makes things much easier.

My Jr. Bridesmaids are NOT wearing the same dress as my BM. Cause all my BM are seperates. We went yesterday to get the JR dresses and the 10 year olds dress was fine. I have Twins that are 12 and they tried on a size 16 and an 18 and it was fine length wise. But on the top it was HUGE!!!!!!!! They put on a size 2 and it fit perfectly. I was so confused. And what really stinks is the JR dresses were 119.00 the regular size 2 was 165.00

june262004... i hope i dont have the same problem.. i got the 12 year old who was 5 feet tall an adult size three and it was way too big on her, so now i found a size 14 which is for girls 5 feet, i hope i dont have a problem with it being a big top... ill find out in a couple hours

My jr. bridesmaid was 12 and taller than me... like 5'3'..... I had to put her in the same dress, because she would have looked ridiculous in a little girl dress. The dresses the bridesmaids picked were 2 piece with short sleeve top so it was appropriate for her. Come to think of it... I was the shortest one in the entire bridal party!

umm i am about to make everyone laugh here - but my jr bridesmaid is the tallest one in the wedding - she is 13 and is currently 5'11' yes that is not a misprint she towers over my next tallest bridesmaid whoe is 5'7' and i look like a little kid next to her at only 5'3' lol

Wow, that is one tall kid. I think my jr. BM is going to get that tall too. Her dad's family (FH, his brother, his father, cousins) are all tall guys over 6' and her mother is 5'11. She'll get there

Well my FG/JR BM/ step daughter will be 10 in March is is up to my chin- which doesnt say muich since I am 5'1'- but she has been banned from growing in the last 1 1/2 but that hasnt stopped her- I jsut keep praying she isnt taller than me- lol

... ok the jr bridemaid tried on the dress and it fits her.. the only thing is if she grows before the wedding(i dont think will be an issue) but if it does then it just may be a little shorter on her..
i cant believe i got the dress on sale for $40..love lord and taylor...
