My July 4th Wedding at the Riviera

Well...here it is, my long over-due review about my July 4th wedding at the Riviera.

All I can say about the Riviera is that they did a wonderful job putting everything together. I must admit that since I spoke with so many people during my year and 4 months planning time that I was a bit concerned but Victoria was very helpful and the letter I gave the Riviera as to how I wanted everything set-up did wonders. As for the day of July 4th, we could not have asked for a better day. It was a bit hot but overall, the weather was beautiful. We had an outdoor ceremony and everyone thought that the gazebo outside was too cute. Everyone loved, ranted and raved about the food. All I have to say about the Rivera is wonderful things.

Photographer - We used Ed Collins Photographer. All I can do is give him a HUGE thumbs up. He did an excellent job!! Everyone said that he was all over the place every moment of the ceremony and reception. I can't wait to see the proofs. I see them next week. DJ - Invitation to Dance WOW! Is all that I can say. They played exactly what we wanted. Everyone came up to me and said what a great DJ we had! Keith was our MC he was great! More info www.invitationtodance.com

Flowers - Town Florist in Massapequa. All I can say is that Suzanne, the owner had some wonderful ideas for me! She did a beautiful job arranging the flowers for me. We did red roses, white daisy's and blue delphiniums. After all, I did get married on July 4th! More info 516.795.7010

Wedding Dress - David's Bridal - Springfield, VA. I had a great experience with them and everyone thought that dress was absolutely beautiful. You can see a piece of it in the picture attached below.

Brides Maid Dresses - Jessica McClintock Roosevelt Field Mall. They were great! Very simple dresses that everyone loved!

Tuxedos - S&S Tuxedo's in Hicksville. They were great. We had absolutely no problems with anyone’s Tux and they gave us a great price. More info 516.931.4527

Clergy - We used Dr. Glass, he was a justice of the peace / ordained minister. I'm Jewish and Husband is Catholic. He allowed us to write our own ceremony and incorporate traditions from both of our religions. If you'd like more info on him please e-mail me at [email protected]

Limo’s - Can't remember the name of the Limo company b/c they were a friend of my sister-in-laws but they did a great job. More info on Limo’s, please e-mail me at [email protected]

I think that just about covers everything! If I forgot anything, please let me know. Absolutely the best day of my life! We had a wonderful time and a great party. Remember to take a minute to look at all of your guests having such a great time because believe me, it goes fast. If anyone has any questions at all, please let me know. Congrats and you look beautiful. I used Ed Collins as well. I haven't seen my pics yet but I totally agree with you he is all over the place and you never notice he is there.
