We picked the steakhouse salad, lobster appetizer, and our three choices were chilian sea bass, filet mignon and the pork chop. We were concerned about picking the pork chop but we loved it so much at the tasting and so many people had it and loved it. Everyone is still raving about the food there it was amazing- I even managed to eat a bit myself which I wanted to make sure I did!

it is so hard to write about my vendors because they were truly indescribable. My band, Timepiece (they are a franklin wayne band) was absolutely flawless. People went up and tried to book them for upcoming weddings that night - and my dance floor was packed the entire night. I danced the whole night and was able to dance with everyone because there was hardly anyone who didn't dance. My husband didn't sit down once and he NEVER dances.
I got my proofs back from North Island Photography (Michael) and they are just beautiful. My parents and everyone loved him because he did the best work and you never even knew he was there - he is so calm and never pulls anyone around or gets in the way of moments - yet he captured them perfectly.
I can not wait to see my video. Motion Pictures Inc. is amazing and I have the same thing to say about them as about Michael - you never knew they were there and they do interviews etc. and you never knew that the people were gone to do them. They did a pre-interview with Gregg and I and we talked about how we met, our engagement, etc and they put it together with our baby and dating pictures - it is amazing. We showed it at our rehearsal dinner- again people are still talking about it and everyone was crying.
Heidi from Sugar Magnolias was my florist and everything was beautiful. Because I had green dresses I let her take the reigns and come up with a beautiful mix of flowers- I couldn't have been happier.
I know I'm leaving things out. Please ask me any questions. The day goes so fast but I couldn't have been happier or had more fun!

I LOVE the shade of green that your bridesmaid dresses were! May I ask who the designer is? Also, you all looked great, I'm glad to hear your day was everything you could have hoped it would be :)

my dress was demetrios.
my bridesmaids dresses were jordan fashions. The color is celedon and the sash is thisle.

That is what I am going to selct on my menu I think. I too was concerned about choosing the pork chops, but was very impressed with it at the tasting as well.

You looked so beautiful on your wedding day. I am so happy for you. I am getting married there in April, and I am also using North Island, so I am excited about that! As for Timepiece, can you give me a general idea of what they cost, I am trying to see if I can fit a band in my bugget. I saw Timepiece at a showcase and loved them. Congrats again and enjoy being married!

We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon and it was amazing. First we stopped in Las Vegas and stayed at the Bellagio - then we went on to Kauai and stayed at the Hyatt Regency there - then on to Maui and stayed at the Grand Waiela. I highly recommend them all!
As for the cost of Timepiece - I think they are at least 5,000 now. We booked in 2001 and paid a bit less. Worth whatever they are charging! lol

You looked beautiful!!! I am also having my reception at Flowerfield (4/13/03) and was so happy to hear about your wonderful experience! I am also considering having the pork chop as one of my choices...I think it's so unique. I am totally jealous that you used Sugar Magnolias and Motion Pictures! I wish that I could fit them both in my budget!!! Good Luck!
