My June 17-19 Girls - Where are you?

We're down to 5 months! Can you believe it? I was so far ahead in the beginning, but I think I've fallen way behind. Thank goodness for 4 weeks off from school. I've been able to get things done. So, share, if you would, what you've gotten accomplished and help me get caught up!

Hey!!! I thought I was mostly done until I made a list over the weekend and realized I have a million little things to do. This week I ordered my invites and my mom got her dress. Next week I am hoping to get my shoes.

I hear ya. My problem is that I still have BIG things to do. During my time off, I put a deposit down on the house in the Hampton's where my family will be staying. It's also the place where we'll have the RD, after-party, and brunch. I booked my videographer, officiant, and pretty much the florist (just have to see the sample and sign the contract). I've been trying to update our wedding website, try to iron out small details with BMs and my hall, and figure out the honeymoon. I made my master to-do list, a tentative day-of timeline, planned the entire ceremony, and started templates for my programs. We just about finished our registry, and I'm working on getting in shape for the dress. I also ordered sample galvanized buckets for our centerpieces (trying to figure out the best size), wine corks for our placecard holders, and a new veil (I have a beautiful white veil already, but it doesn't go with my diamond white dress). I have NO idea what invites we're going to use.

Well, I can definitely recommend Music by Michael for DJ. I think he's going to be wonderful! And I found my BM's jewelry at Things Remembered - beautiful swarovski crystals and silver, and they come in great keepsake boxes! :o)

My pleasure! So, what's everyone's theme/color scheme for the big day? I'm trying to go with a Hampons-esque theme with pink and green as my colors. It's proving to be a little difficult though.

My big thing right now is deciding on flowers --I was going to do them myself, but now I'm having second thoughts and I think I'll visit some florists to get prices. Other stuff on my list: Designing my invites, figuring out rehearsal dinner, groomsmen attire, first dance song & dance lessons, picking my menu, and the list goes on.

My color scheme is green and pink too! Green dresses with pink flowers, My placecards will be presented in wheatgrass, pink and green striped table runners, green apple martinis. How are you incorporating the colors?

My colors are not summery...black BM dresses and red and cream roses.

Well, so far, the girls will be in pink dresses with pink and white flowers with bear grass, and tied in pink and green ribbons. I'm hand-painting my aisle runner with pink and green. Centerpieces will be pink roses and gerberas with green hydrangea in galvanized buckets tied with pink and green raffia. I'm looking for striped or plaid pink and green invites and ribbon. The ribbon will line the outside edge of the placecards (we get them free from the hall), and a pink rosette will go in the center between the name and table #. I'm also working the colors into the program fans, menus, and table #s. Not sure what else at the moment. Maybe I can work the green into the guys' tuxes...

Oh! I was also thinking it might be cute to do a summery pink and green fruit salad for the first course. I was thinking honeydew melon, kiwis, green grapes, and watermelon! :o)

smilealways: this website has some pink & green stationery - not invites, but good for thank you notes and other stuff.
