My Key keeps getting stuck in my ignition!!!!
I couldn't get it out for 1 hour last night! I was so afraid that I was going to break the key. Then I finally got it out and switched to my spare key...and guess what? That got stuck this morning and it took me 15 minutes to get it out!Does this mean I have to get a new ignition???

That happened to me once and I sprayed WD40 on the key and then it was fine. I would ask someone else before you did this incase I was lucky and it didn't ruin anything.

Also make sure your wheels are perfectly straight when you put the car in park, they use to happen to the Ford I had in high school.Bridget

Also happended to me, especially in the cold. I later found out that even though I was putting the gear stick into park, the gears were still cold so that the car didnt necessarily go into park. I had to put it in park, and then wait to for the light to tell me it was in park to finally turn the car off.

Re: My Key keeps getting stuck in my ignition!!!!
What's the year, make and model of the car? The WD40 approach should be ok and should not damage anything.... if that does not do the trick you might just need a new ignition solenoid (sp?)... which you might be able to get from a local junk yard and have a tech install.Welcome New Vendors
