So do any of you remember my 'invitation liner' quandary a few weeks back on BHB? Well we placed our order for the invites last week knowing that our invitations did NOT have a liner. Yesterday, the lady calls me to tell me that she had been misinformed by the invite company and that it DOES come with a liner in either black or pearl/ivory. She had a few words with them because of the misinformation and sounded pretty pissed to me. She told them that there was a strong possibility that I was going to be placing future orders for other wedding related products (i.e. programs and place cards) and she would advise me not to if they were going to continue to be careless with info (good move on her part).
I asked her what the pricing on the liners would be and its about $80 (because it considered custom lining). I then asked her to get a sample for me just to see if I even liked it.
So then I got to thinking, if she made enough of a stink, she could probably get them to either come down in price or have them throw in the liners at no charge. I suggested this to her and she was responsive to the idea. So she calls me today saying that she spoke with a manager and we are getting the liners for free. I mean $80 isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things but $80 here and $80 there adds up.
(Thus concludes my lame 'money saving coup' post du jour)

No idea. We are waiting for the samples to choose but definitely not black. Probably some kind of pearl or maybe gold if it comes that way. These little things excite me. Im so lame!
