~*~*MY LAST QOTD, 3/18/12*~*~

Happy Sunday Ladies! I'm sorry I didn't get to post my QOTD sooner, but i've been spending the last few hours feeling the effects of St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawls

So I can't believe it is Sunday already! I am so sad that this will be my last QOTD! I had a blast doing it and I am very excited to pass on the role to a new bride!

Thank you again Kelly Anne for giving me the opportunity! I hope I made you proud

So here it is... my last question. Today's theme is of course the most important and meaningful part of a wedding...

Part One:
Every wedding is unique because the love shared between each Bride and Groom is unique. What other ways are you planning to make your wedding unique? (Music, Customs, Vows, Readings, Location, DIY, etc.)

Part Two:
Name 1 thing you love about FH for every year you and him have been together.

Marianna, you did a fabulous job with the questions! I really liked your themes.

Part 1
FH and I are going to do a fun first dance. We also want our wedding party to do a unique entrance. In terms of music, I am really leaning towards placing a slip of paper in with each invitation asking the guest to name one song that makes them want to get up and dance. I'm going to put the songs on our playlist for the dj. I also want to add some DIY projects to my wedding like table numbers, drink stirrers, etc.

Part 2
We will be together 4 years in June.
1. His affection
2. He has a good heart.
3. His sense of humor
4. He is strong and confident.

Part One:

We are coming in to the Batman Theme Song from 1989. We are also doing Batman characters as table numbers.

Part Two:

We've only been together 19 months So I guess I only have to do one. I love that he is so considerate and loving.

Ahhh! Yes! I'm very proud, Mariana!!! You've had great, thoughtful questions!!! Great job!

1.) Our wedding unique-ness will come down to the fact that we will have lots of Wizard of Oz stuff randomly strewn about (haha) and my DIY projects--centerpieces, cake topper, decorations, my veil, etc.
Our invites, thank yous & guestbook tree were made by my friend who is an artist. There will just be MANY personal touches that will make it very unique, imo!

2.) I love the fact that my fiance' becomes more & more thoughtful as time goes by. He's just the best!!!!

Woops! I totally read the last question wrong! haha... ok here we go!
1. He always makes me laugh.
2. He's so THOUGHTFUL!

Were doing DIY table numbers, escort cards, menus and programs. Also our centerpieces our unique.
I love how outgoing fh is. I love how he can be funny and serious. I love how caring he is. And I love how he is family orientated.

Our wedding will be unique because we will be doing a Mexican tradition since FH is half Mexican. We will be having a lasso & arras which is a really big rosary but instead of being one circle it has two and our moms place our halves on us and then we get blessed. Arras are coins that FH will put in my hands to symbolize that he will take care of our family and provide for us and I promise to use the coins wisely. Its really nice and special to us and a tradition I am sure his mom will be shocked that we are doing but his family will love it.

For the reception we have a lot of treats in store for our family. No one in my family has ever had or seen a photo booth at a wedding or a cigar roller so they'll be really surprised. I think doves and trumpeters are also a nice touch we are doing...the doves being for those that have passed away. Our watermelon carvings at the cocktail hour will also all be custom. Our invitations will be unique too since they are boxed and each one is customized to each guest. so many more touches to do. I'll think about it more in a few months or else I'll feel overwhelmed.

I love FH because:

1) he makes me laugh every day
2) he Still always gives me butterflies in my tummy
3) he has stepped in and become an amazing father to my son
4) he loves me for everything that I am and everything that I am not

Part One:
we're going to write our own vows, I'm DIYing just about everything lol, music will mostly reflect our own personal tastes - no top 40 music but a lot of motown, jazz and indie stuff instead, FH wants to do the superhero pics with tee shirts for him and his GM, there's a lot....I can't wait!

Part Two:
* His intelligence
* His patience
* His love of cats....he's so cute around them!

I feel like we are doing alot of unique things! But most importantly, staying true to our visions and making sure that in the end, the day is all about us and to never lose sight of that

1. I love the way that every decision he makes is always for whats best for me (and gets mad if I do anything that could hurt me)
2. I love his honesty- no matter how brutal it is
3. I love his sense of humor and the witty comments he makes
4. I love how handsome he is, mixed with his rugged looks when playing sports and I love his chubs
5. I love how he is constantly still trying to impress me (makes my lunches, or will have my breakfast items all lined up when I wake up, or will go nuts cleaning the house before I get home when it's girl's night here)
6. I love knowing that I am going to be spending the rest of my life with Matt

We are writing your our vows ...i want to it every special b/c when we fight we ring a bell and that will remind us of our special day and the vows ..i read that in an irish book so i want to do that!!!!!

4. I love his laugh and when im upset he will always make me smile

I haven't really had time to figure out all the details. But I definately want to do pictures as table #s.

Part Two
1) I love that out realtionship was never a 'game'. Never a chase..it was just easy and natural
2) Family is extremely important to me, and he is very family oriented as well.
3) He is ALWAYS making me laugh

What a unity cross?

Part 1: I think my theme is unique and my little details throughout will def be different to most people.

Part 2:
1. He has the same stupid sense of humor as me
2. He is the nicest person in the world (total opp of me!)
3. He is patient
4. He puts me ahead of everything and everyone
5. He rather spend time with me than hanging out with his friends
6. We are fans of the same sports teams
7. His boyish good looks
8. He's the only person who 100% 'gets' me

Part One:
We are having a very unique ceremony...2 brides! lol. We have to figure out exactly HOW we are doing the ceremony/ WALKING... but we are also trying to do some DIYs - programs, theme-y accents, etc

Part Two:
We've been together almost 18 months...so I'll do 1:
She has the ability to calm me down because of her amazing personality, and she makes me laugh and feel good about us and myself!

1. Our wedding will be unique because we will be writing our own vows. I'm sure there will be other aspects of our wedding that will make it unique however, we have not gotten into all the details yet.
