My last QOTD

Hi Ladies..... Tara here again with a final question. Thanks so much to Rachel for choosing me as BOTW. It was fun! Far more challenging than I ever thought it would be . I'll be posting later on today next weeks BOTW.

Honestly, FM me if you haven't been chosen yet.... I'd love to be able to give it to someone like me who's been wishing and hoping to see their name every Sunday!

QUESTION: BOOZE!!!!!????

What do you plan to drink on the day of the wedding!?
Are you having a signature cocktail!? If so... do you know what it is. I always like a new schmancy drink idea.

We want to have one.... not sure yet what it will be. I've hear NRC has amazing champagne, so I may do that for a bit. My bro had a really tasty frozen blue italian ice drink at their wedding in Dec.

We were going to do blood orange margaritas, but after last night, I'm rescinding that idea...I want a drink with grenadine because it sits at the bottom and looks cool.

I am having starburst martinits hopefully. Otherwise we are having pina coladas and strawberry daquiris. I was going to do the champagne but everyone does that I want to stand out.

I'll probably just be drinking my usual - either white wine or Malibu and Diet Coke. I don't think we're having a signature drink, but I might discuss it with FH.

i plan to have a signature drink...my BFF is planning a tasting at the resarant she works at! but usally i drink Cosmos or Mailbu and Coke so i dunno....

umm.. i'm not sure if we're doing a signature drink. I am personally not that big of a drinker, but I know my mom and FH would love to have a Berry Mojito at the reception.

wine or beer. That's usually all I drink. I don't want to get smashed, so I will have a couple throughout the night.

Also, probably have some frozen drinks since it's summer and CH is outdoors. Frozen Margaritas are yummmmy

We're having a couple of signature drinks; one that has booze to satisfy my family (Irish) and one that's booze-free to satisfy his side of the family (Muslim).

What they are yet - I don't know. Our colors are green and orange. I'd like something more creative than an appletini.

As for day-of for myself...well, I can no longer drink Champagne. Boo, but most RHs serve crap fake champagne anyway so I don't feel like I'm totally missing out. It really depends on my mood. It might be beer (but probably not, only because my RH doesn't have a huge assortment of beer), wine or my standard SoCo and ginger ale. Or maybe Maker's Mark and Coke.

Now I'm thirsty.

I will def do a shot of cognac

I was thinking about making a Green Russian as our signature drink. Green b/c its our color and Russian well cause more than half of the wedding will be Russian
not sure if my RH will be able to do it, but worth asking

I think we're going to have a signature cocktail, but I'm not sure what yet.

As for what I'm going to be drinking that day...although I love Malibu Bay Breezes, I think I'm going to avoid them b/c I tend to spill things. So I'm going to stick with clear drinks only---most likely gin & tonic.

Definitely having a drink or two on the big day, but not much more. I plan to pace myself and drink plenty of water / gatorade.

We want a signature drink and it will probably be a Raspberry Sangria.

Last night at our 'non rehearsal rehearsal dinner party' we created a shot out of Kettle One, some blue berry flavor and cranberry juice. Well, it was good enough to drink straight. Should the wedding still occur, we were considering calling it the Valdemira Lovin' (I think that was the name). We did A TON of shots and I was able to get up this morning and go to doggie group class as if didn't even drink last night.

I was at a party when I met FH. I brought watermelon vodka and everyone was drinking it and loving it all night. By the end of the night, however, a few people were a little sick . I thought it would be a cute idea for our wedding but...I don't want a repeat of that night.

not sure if we will do a signature drink yet. I love the idea, but it's yet another decision!!! Maybe once I actually get started and BOOK SOMETHING, I can... But I want to!!!!!

I will probably stick with Champagne or White wine... well atleast to start. I am scared to drink something with color and risk spilling on myslef. LOL

i dont plan on really drinking too much at our wedding but if i do itll prob b a glass of wine! i do plan on having a signature drink at the reception
