is it a bad idea to start it by doing some online? or do u think i should go there first then add stuff online after?

IMO, you really dont NEED to go to the store for anything... so if you wanted to start it online, that would be fine... i dont think you'd have a problem... i went to the store maybe twice and then added and deleted online

i did both actually. I started online mostly so i could get the administrative stuff out of the way (name, address etc.) and also just put some random things on. Then we went to the store and the woman helped us with the china (she was fab! in westbury i forget her name). Then when we cam home and remembered some things we had forgotton I just added to it.

I seriously did MOST of it online. It was soooooooooooo much easier. I did it on BBB and it was great! Easy to take things on and off. We would go to the store and get so over-whelmed.... dont get me wrong- I loved bleeping things onto that thing... but it def. took us longer to go through the store on a busy day than to do it online. We would just go to the store for items we were unsure about or things we really needed to look at.

It is whatever you prefer , but a little of both works best. We went there first, there are something you want to see and touch, other things it doesnt matter.

If registering at BBB or Macy's I don't think it really matters.
But my brother and his fiancee just registered at Crate & Barrel, they said it was awesome. They took them up to a room and showed them how to use a fondue set, had snacks for them, and then gave them a heart shaped candy dish when they finished. So, if you plan on registering at Crate & Barrel I would def go to the store. They are in VA though, so not sure if they would do it here. I don't see why they wouldn't though
