MY LEFT BOOB!!!

To all past and present pregnant woman, did any of you have a problem WITH ITCHY BOOBS??? Or to be specific, ONE itchy boob??!!!!!

I am going out of my mind because my left boob is so darn itchy, it's driving me crazy!! I wake myself up from the scratching to the point where I almost make it bleed!!! And WHY IS IT ONLY THE ONE BOOB??? Only me, this can happen to only me, I'm telling ya!!!

I did, but it wasn't just one, both!!! I guess it's the skin stretching, wait until your belly starts itching!! I just made sure to keep everything moiturized.
I use cocoa butter, I read that the aveeno stuff is good too.

Oh the belly started itching today, especially around the belly button!!! I've been putting aloe on it, but I'm going to go buy some cocoa butter this weekend!!

How are you feeling otherwise Nina?? Must be getting really excited now that it's so close!!!!

I used the stick from Body Shop that Claud recommended. I also use it on my stretch marks, but they sure haven't faded yet!

Well, I feel like I'm on full time PMS for the last couple of weeks. I'm ready to be admitted, and my poor DH doesnt' understand, nor does he do anything to help (or at least it seems like he doens't)

All rational thoughts have fled this week, and I hope it doesn't last too long, or else someone's going to be filing divorce papers before the baby even comes!!

Otherwise I'm feeling great! Excited that I've got 11 weeks left. The baby's always moving, hopefully I haven't scared him or her too much with my crying and yelling

Aw, you poor thing!! Don't worry I'm sure your DH is just beside himself worrying about you!! I've been on that PMS roller coaster myself lately and Joe just looks at me and says 'wife loco' and laughs!! He's been reading that Expectant Father book, so at least he's a bit prepared for my mood swings!!!

When is your due date again? And did you pick out names yet? Or I should say -- do you both agree on the same names? We don't, so this is going to be fun!!!!

I'm due June 15th, but wishing and hoping for an early delivery.

The names we are pretty much set on and both agree on are JAMES or LILA, not sure of middle names yet. I know, it' crazy that we actually agree on something!!

OMG!!! I almost tore BOTH of my boobs off from the itching!!!! I moisturized for a while, but now I'm not doing anything to them since the lactation consultant I spoke with said I shouldn't even be putting soap on them at this point (let natural sterilizers and moisturizers do their thing to get ready). But it was a nightmare! And my DH laughed at me ripping at my boobs all the time!!

And the tummy itch, forget about it! Even with moisturizer I still itch!

I'm really starting to hit the point where I am ready to HAVE THIS BABY!! 6 weeks and 4 days until due date!!

Thanks guys!! I'm buying that cocoa butter!! So, I'm the only freak with the one itchy boob, huh? Bad enough they hurt like he!! and the left one is bigger then the right one!!! Oh well, I am Woman Hear Me Roar (or watch me scratch)!!!

Anna, I think I told you some, but my all-time favorite girl name has been and always will be Gianna, which once upon a time Joe liked. Now that reality has set in, he's like 'it's not ringing any bells'??!!!!! Then I said Daniella and he said ABSOLUTELY NOT (wonder which bimbo he dated with that name, huh? ). I like Giuliana, he says no. I say Isabella, he makes a face. Does he give me any suggestions? No, so I'm thinking, if I'm going through all the pain, I get the glory of naming the baby if it's a girl. What do you think? Good compromise?

As for boys, he likes Angelo Vincent (after both our grandfathers), but I also like Angelo Joseph. I want Dominic -- after my father, who tells me 'I don't like that name, pick something else' -- so they both gang up on me! I also like Joseph (not jr. though), but he doesn't want that, too many in his family. I like Salvatore, nope. And the list of Italian names goes on and he either cracks up at them or makes a face!!!!!

Not for nothing, but the man is going to get a bop in the head!!

Dominic is a nice name...that is hubby's middle name, and he said if we ever have a boy, that will be his middle name. If we have a girl, I want her to have my middle name...Elizabeth

PS ~ Deb, keep plugging for Gianna. I LOVE IT! I also really like Angelo. I knew a realllllly cute boy in Jr. high school named Angelo, so I get the warm fuzzies over that name.

try putting on cool/cold compresses on the itchy area. it will numb the skin a bit. or if u can bear it- ice packs- like the ones u would put in a lunchbox. wrap it up in a washcloth...

I had PUPPS- a preg itchy condition and the ice packs helped a lot!!!

LOL!!!

I remember the itchy belly very very well but not the itchy boob, left or right.

Edited to add: I love Daniella, I've seen it spelled Daniela which I think is really pretty too. I have a friend whose niece is Gianna and they call her Gia as a NN which is adorable. Nice choices!
