My life of leisure has been taken away!

Since school ended June 24th, I've been living the life of leisure, going to the beach, rollerblading every morning, going to the library, playing on here and watching daytime TV & catching up with friends. Well...

the temp agency called & said they have an assignment for at least the next 3 weeks (when we leave for Texas).

I thought I wanted to work & get out of the house & make some $, but now I'm like NOOOOO!

Now a lot of stuff I've been putting off doing (organizing the rest of my teaching stuff, straightening up, food shopping laundry), I've been running around doing all morning.

I just got in from the beach.....I don't want to go to work!!! (I know, its only 3 weeks & then we're going away) & I've been home all summer...(mainly just 'playing', I know I have it good). I remember my 10 years of working in an office with only 2 weeks off all year.

thats where i'm at, so i'm lacking on the sympathy with this one

but that does stink that you have to start it right away- can you tell them you dont want to do it? (i know this isnt the most economical decision, but i would Totally choose the time off over the money... but im just Tired like that )

Can't feel too sympathetic...For the next three years my entire vacation is being spent taking courses for an executive doctoral program...
