My poor little baby has a fever for the first time and is sick for the first time. She had a little cold when she was 4 weeks old, but it wasn't anything like now. She's all mushy, cranky, clingy and where is her mother? At work. How horrible do I feel. Instead of clinging to her mommy, she's clinging to her grandma! But when I just called up and my MIL put the phone next to her, she started smiling and tried to reach for the phone!!!
I'm leaving here at 3 to take her to the dr. This is how I'm spending my b'day.
But I'd rather spend my b'day being at the dr with Gianna, rather then not having her in my life at all and being totally miserable. She really is the light at the end of the tunnel for me these days (Joe too) and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't get out of bed.
Ok, I'm crying again, gotta go.

Thank you all!!! I just called home again (for the umpteenth time, my MIL must be like '***' ) and she's sooo mushy and cranky. I feel horrible and helpless. I love when she puts her little head in the nook between my head and shoulder and just holds on and snuggles....
One good thing, looks like no shots on Sat then!! One less stress for me.
