My (long) wedding planning weekend!! (J'Adore Love, Renate's, Bridal Elegance, BBB)
As some of you may know, I fly up to LI once a month (which is starting to get a litttttle expensive ![]()
) to do some planning!! ![]()
Here's a quick overview....
We went BM shopping on Friday at Bridal Elegance. They were really nice but a little 'sales-y' and I wasn't into that. When we found 'the dress' we loved, I called around to see who had it for cheaper. Which led me to Renate's in Lindenhurst. I have heard mixed things about them but my experience with them this weekend was a very good one. They were super nice and knowledgeable. One BM has ordered her dress so far!![]()

My e-party was on Saturday (THANK GOD IT DIDNT RAIN!!) and it was a success! We had so much fun and got to see sooooo many people we haven't seen in a while. And our families finally all met and it was really nice.
Most gifts we got were from my BBB registry. I did get 1 gift that was wrapped in a BBB box w/ wrapping paper and all that turned out to be a duplicate gift. I went to BBB today to return it (even though it wasn't shown as being bought off my registry) and they said it was bought at Macy's (I don't know how they can tell that....no stickers were on it) and they won't take it back. This is definitely a possibility that it came from Macy's but I thought it was odd that it was all wrapped up in BBB boxes and paper. So just a note that if you ever need to return something to BBB, they seem pretty hardcore about their returns![]()
No biggy though.
Today I had my e-pics with J'Adore Love....OMG we had so much fun! FH has been talking about how much fun he had all day, its cute. We took them around Babylon Village (standing in the streets, on steps, benches, coffee shops, etc) I highly recommended J'Adore Love to begin with but I am so happy that they are our photographers even more so now!! I can't wait to see our pics...hopefully have teasers in a few days.
