My make-up artist bailed and my wedding is next week!

A year ago, I made arrangements with a 'friend' who does make up for Channel and she had the nerve to EMAIL me, last night that she will not be able to get off work b/c it is a holiday weekend. So happy that she cared enough to give me a week and a half notice! I asked her far in advance in an attempt to avoid last minute issues such as this.
Does anyone have any suggestions for makeup artists in Suffolk? I was planning on having my bridesmaids done but at this point, as long as my mom and I can have our makeup done, I will be happy.
My wedding is Sunday, May 28th at 3:00 PM.

go to a local salon and see what they have available, I am sure someone will be able to accomodate you

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have to tell you that I was in the same boat. I was going to use a lady from Macy's but she backed out on me. I ended up using Amy from Merle Norman, she was great! Fm if you're interested.

She came to my house and did me and my 2 BM.
The store is located on Rt 110 in Farmingdale.

Try local salons...also Melinda on this site was good- she did my sister's wedding- I dunno if she's booked already, but it's worth a shot and she does great work.

I know of some girls, not sure if they are available. My MOH used one of 'em. I'm using the other one for my own wedding, let me know if you want their info.

Both are great and very reasonably priced!
They will do both hair and makeup for 4-5 girls under $500.

Try Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. She's a vendor on here.

she's wonderful! she gets booked very quickly so call asap. Sachiko does both hair and makeup and her trial's for free. her salon's located near Tiffany's in hte city. g' luck!

That is sooo disgusting of her!!! A week before your wedding!!!
What is wrong with people?!?!
call jacqueline nicole - she is in suffolk and will travel to you - I hope she's still available!
If you are out of luck I would go to the make-up counters at the mall and try to get someone from there.
