So I always feel really uncomfortable getting my picture taken and make really horrible faces.... So try not to notice that part lol (hopefully I will figure out how to deal with this before the wedding pics).... So ignoring my awkward poses.... what do you think of make up? Oh and please feel free to give some tips about how to not take such horrible pictures! LOL

Thanks. I like the job she did. I just really hate the way I photograph. (Have I said that enough?) You should see pictures of me after I've been drinking... My eyes look even bigger like a disney cartoon... Its sooooo bad. Maybe I'll post one of those lol

the makeup looks beauitful! stop being so down on yourself! Get a good photographer and they will make sure to get the best shots! I make crazy faces all the time..my students constantly make fun of my faces I make at them.

Oh I'm using C o l o r m a k e u p s t u d i o take out the spaces her name is c h r i s t i n e. She is great but from Rockland County. I live in the Bronx and she is traveling to my wedding in New Rochelle, NY. I don't know if she would go to Long Island. But its costing me 110 for airbrush make up and then with travel costs its 147. Some of the bridesmaids are doing make up for 70 (no air brush and quicker). I have pictures from when I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding if you want to see how those came out.

I think you look absolutely beautiful! Of course, you're a beautiful girl to begin with so they had a lot to work with. But your eyes look especially great!! Really nice job!!

She was really good. I told her that I don't usually wear make up (I'm a teacher and I have to be at work early enough... I'm too lazy to wake up even earlier for make up!) So she knew I wouldn't be comfortable with anything that looked like too much make up. At first I told her I wanted her to do put blush on my cheek bones to make my cheeks look slimmer and she said she would have just put blush on the rosey part of my cheeks for a younger look but we could try what I wanted. She was completely right and I ended up going with her idea. She was so patient though. She tried my eyes 3 different ways and tested a few different lip glosses until I decided what I liked. And she is really friendly so I felt like I was hanging out with a girl friend. Definitely recommend her!

Yes!!! I graduated in 06 and was an ed minor. I know you are a teacher too so I wonder if we had classes together??? My fh went to Manhattan too which is why we wanted to do it there.
Using their chapel is complicated though. I had to pay Manhattan but register my marriage at Church of the Visitation down the block because that's the parish they are associated with. And the MC priest was not available so we had to get one from home. So we are coordinating with 3 churches... agghhh! (but worth it :)
