My makeup artist...........

just called and told me he might not be able to do my makeup for my wedding becasue he is going on tour with Madonna......... He will be on tour from August until the end of December...It is such a great opportunity for him but it really ***** for me......he has done my makeup for every special occasion and I was counting on him to do it for the wedding. I didnt even search around for another makeup artist and dont even know any others that do a good job like he does. He knows exactly my style and what I like and dont like...........He says he will send one of his friends to do it but I dont want them I want him to do it I find out tomorrow when he has to leave.....I really hope he is here to do it.

ughhh that is not good news--well it is for him but not for you!! i hope things work out--stay positive!!

I was just at MSG last night for the george michael concert and there were signs up that madonna was going to be there in october (i think 6, 7, 11 and 12?) -- so maybe he will still be in the area on the 26th and can still do your makeup!

I know I am freaking out right now, I think he just found out today and will find out tomorrow either if its definite or of the definite dates. He says his friend is just as good but I dont know him and do I want somebody new doing my makeup on one of the most important days of my life This really *****, i dont know anybody else as good as he is.

There are SO many great make-up artists out there I'm sure you'll find someone just as good!!

im freaking out too - even if he doesnt get this job, he might get another one by our weddings KWIM? it seems like he is always getting new work offers - this is making me REALLY nervous....i dont even know who else to try...i wonder if his friend is more reliable? or is his friend just as unpredictable? well at least i saw this! if he gets this job and doesnt let me know i am going to kill him!

that pedala girl looks like she is really good - but she is REALLY expensive

yeah he is incredible - ive been on other trials and NO ONE has compared to him - he is ridiculous and we both know him personally also - so he does right by us with price - but he isnt the most reliable because he does like movie, tv, videos, and now maybe madonna

My whole bridal party and my family....where am I going to find somebody that has reasonable prices that will do that many people. I want to scream right now.

I hate this crap, I guess they say something always has to go wrong when you are planning a wedding so I guess overall this isnt too bad but it still really *****. I am going to wait to hear from him later today and take it from there. Maybe I will have his friend come over with him and do a trial this way Chris will be there to supervise and tell him what we like and dont like. I am hoping if he is recommending him that he is really good too. It just ***** now because who knows what he is going to charge. If I dont like him I guess I will be on the hunt and going on a gazillion make up trials
