My mama got her dress today! STORE RAVE!

Today my MOH, mom and I went to Blanchee Bridal! My mom tried on dresses for TWO HOURS. At first she fell in love with this dress - but the lady (Toni) kept telling her it was expensive. . . but my mom fell in love with it anyway! So after deciding THAT was the dress, we asked the price and it was almost $2K! AND cost more than my WEDDING GOWN! My mom got really upset and she almost wanted to go home! But then the lady Toni insisted she keep trying on dresses - and finally my mom fell in love with ANOTHER dress for half the price!! Even after TWO HOURS, Toni did NOT push at all. . . she really wanted us to leave happy!

So, my mom ended up with a Hunter green dress from Junnie Leigh. It has a sweetheart neck with all beading on the neckline - the bottom has a little flare with sheer sections with more beading. And it comes with a gorgeous jacket too!

One more thing off the list!!

how nice!!! one more thing DONE... my Mom ordered her dress about a month ago! She lives in Florida and we went shopping together down there. The color sounds nice! Congrats.

i have such respect for stores that treat my mom with respect. I am not a plus size myself, but my mother is - and how SOME of these bridal stores treat plus size women is DISGUSTING!

I had women tell my mom she was 'delusional' trying on a certain size, and other women SCREAM out her size across an entire crowded store!

At Blanchee - the woman Toni even kicked out a husband bc my mom had to come out of the room with the entire back of the dress open bc she couldnt fit into some of the samples. . . she was so considerate!
