My May 27 wedding
It has been while since I have posted, but I felt the need to give everyone some updates. The wedding was everything I wanted it to be. It was held at Chateau Briand. I prayed for no rain because I was going to have an outdoor ceremony. The entire week the forcast predicted that it was going to rain the entire day. Luckily it didn''t rain, but I felt it wasn''t warm enough for the outdoor ceremony. Hhen I got there, I told them that we going to do it indoors. When I saw the room before the ceremony, I wanted to start crying at the spot - absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony went very smoothly and surprising no tears from me or my family. Our guest threw rose petals at us. It was gorgeous. The bridal party did not attend the cocktail hour, but I was able to see it right after the ceremony -it was breathtaking. Everyone was raving about the food. I didn''t eat much because we were taking our pictures and I didn''t have an appetite (I didn''t see my husband prior to the cermony). We made our grand entrance through the floor. Only about 10 people knew about that. Thus, our 200 guest were caught completely offguard and they loved it. Everything was done perfectly. The bridal party was introduced as they walk through the doors. After the maid of honor and best man entered, there was small pause and our names were called. Everyone was looking towards the door. So people were a little confused when we didn''t come in. Then it went completely dark and there was smoke in the middle of the floor and flashing lights. At this point the DJ started playing Diana Ross and the Supremes 'I Comming out.' Our guest went wild at this point. We were so excited that we were dancing as we were coming out. The food was great during the reception. I tasted the salmon and the prime beef and it was good. My flowers and centerpieces were done by simple elegance and they were fabulous. I had low centerpieces with crystal hurricane lamps, which I gave to family and friends who supported us in planning our wedding. Some of our guest were disappointed that they didn''t get one. Pro-Line Studios were fabulous. I cannot wait to see the proofs and the video. I had the photographer and video at my house. The wedding started at 12:00, and they were at my house at 815 to start taking pictures at 8:30. Yes, I was on time (smile). They kept stressing that it was important to be on time so that I can best shots without being rushed. We went to Sandals Monetgo Bay for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time in Jamaica. We received an upgrade to a beachfront room. We participated in most of their activities. We visited the other two sandals in montego Bay, and the one in Ocho Rios and Negril. We climed Dunns River Fall and visited Rick Cafe (My husband jumped off the cliff) In conclusion, MY WEDDING WAS A DREAM COME TRUE. I thank LI Wedding for having this site. I was planning from Maryland, and I received some wonderful ideas from the brides on this site. I wish you all the best in your plans, and if you have any question, I will be happy to respond.

For Mishy222
I did not visit Sandals Ocho Rios during my honeymoon. We visited Sandals Duns River. However, you will love the Sandals experience. I heard a lot of great things about The Royal Bahamian. Since I haven't been to the two mentioned, I really can't offer any advise. I am sorry. However, in making your decision, you may want to consider the fact that Sandals has six properties in Jamaica, and you can visit all of them and enjoy their facilities. Good luckWelcome New Vendors
