My MIL to be wants to catch the boquet.

Im not kidding. I read about this idea of that you get all the married couples on the dance floor and the MC eliminates then by hours then 1 year 5 years 10 year etc. until the longest married couple is standing. Then you do the garter and hand the garter and bouqet to the couple asking them about thier best advice on being married. Instead of draging all the single people up to the floor. Most are divorced or just dont want to do it. So anyway I was telling my MIL that I wanted to do this and she siad ' you have to throw the flowers because I want to catch it' She is convinced that she can get up there. She told me that for a few minutes she is single. HELLO your married. I see her now elbowing all the girls out of the way. Then she got upset because she wont be the oldest married couple. Yikes. Should I do the garter thing or through the Boquet\/ Well anyway thanks for listening to my story. I think its funny.

That sounds silly, why would she want to catch your bouquet? does she want to preserve it or something..I'm at a complete loss. What does FH say??

Lisa, that was priceless. I think she is tooooo cute. How many women will you have there to catch the bo-k? If your MIL is serious, this will make for a great video moment

I have about 7 single woman. Not many. The FI is scared becuase he can just imagine one of his single friends putting on the garder. Dont get me wrong my MIL is really funny but I just see Rob running out of the room with his mothers leg streched out saying come hither. Yum Yum single sexy man. It would be funny but Rob would freak.
