My mini review....
Hey ladies, I haven't been on much since the wedding, honeymoon and we just closed on our house on Friday (two days after the honeymoon ![]()
). But I did want to give a quick review of my vendors bc I know there are some girls using them soon after me. I will of course do a full one when I get my proofs and all!
Kacey for hair and make up - Awesome! I was so unsure of how I wanted my hair that I had 3 trials with her leading up to the day. The morning of, I sat back and told her to do what she thought I would like and would look good. And she nailed it! But even more then that - she was so much fun to be around. She was great![]()
Burtons for flowers - They showed up with the wrong flowers for the guys, but as soon as I told them they were all over it. They got us the right flowers within 30 minutes and let us keep the old ones. So we had extra to hand out to uncles and stuff. The flowers themselves were amazing. Just as I pictured them. All in all, I was very happy with them.
NY style Limos - Not a very well known company which is part of the reason I choose them. You hear such horror stories about limos and I was so worried about it. I have learned through this process that sometimes it's the little guy that is the best choice. I called some 'bigger' limo places and got an attitude and horrible customer service. I always felt like they didn't need me so they didn't have to make me happy. Ny style Limo is run by one guy (the owner) who you deal directly with. They did a great job. I hope more people will use them bc they really were so easy and dependable.
Thomas Paul for photo/video - *We did NOT have Tom himself, he was already booked for my day but I loved the end result of all his pictures so much I still booked with him. We had Brian and Jackie the day of. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Anyone that likes TP's pictures but he is already booked, seriously consider using Brian. He was so much fun and easy going. We haven't got our proofs back yet, but he did show me a lot from his camera and I couldn't be happier! I am still getting compliments from my guests on how hard they worked and how they were getting on the floor and standing on chairs to get a good shot. So many people keep asking to use the proofs bc they couldn't believe how much they were doing. Brian was funny and even got along with my guests. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!
Miller Place Inn - I don't think I could put into words how happy I am with them. They made my wedding what it was and it was amazing! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - they were all over everything! We have a lot of guests tell us it was the best wedding they went to bc the staff was so friendly and were running drinks. We had a lot of compliments on the waitstaff and even our banquet manager, who by the way would jump behind the bar anythime there was more then 5 people waiting. This is another place that I felt like it was not very well known, and I almost doubted my choice after being on here and having almost no one that had the same RH. But, I honestly don't think my wedding would have been what it was anywhere else. Doing the dessert hour we even saw the chef come out to check on the desserts and to make sure everything was good. We were so pleased and impressed that we made a point of going over to thank him. I truly do owe all the success of our wedding day to the Miller Place Inn and the staff.
