My missing invitation pieces are taking my minimoon before me...

Another crackerjack job by the USPS!!!

I was supposed to receive two missing components from my invites last Thursday...so I started getting really concerned when Thurs, Fri, AND Sat passed without receiving them.

So I got an email this morning from my invitation designer, saying that she got a tracking update that my package was being sorted through the PR facility W.T.F...on 9/3 it was in BETHPAGE!!!!! So someone in Bethpage, instead of putting it out for delivery, you know, 20 minutes away, puts it on a plane to San Juan. I guess I can see the confusion...San Juan...Saint James...all holy

Thank GOD I'm going to be getting another one sent to me, and that it was only two invitations that will be held and none that are super super crucial, but lets keep our fingers crossed that this time they end up in the right territory

I know, right???? I mean, this totally wasn't her fault, it's all on the postal service. I feel like I have a magnet or something It's a good thing I've slipped in to 'I don't give a shiz anymore' mode and I can laugh about it! The PO said to me when i was just there before, I asked, that if it was mis-sorted it would eventually come back to me and to give it a few days, so between that and the re-sent package, hopefully ONE of the two will actually reach me

I know how you feel. My post office lost $300 worth of wedding stamps I ordered online. Then proceeded to try to tell me that they didn't loose them! I had the confirmation that they received them. It took me 17 phone calls and a bunch of tears to get them replaced. The post office is such a bureaucracy!
