My MOH DROPPED OUT!! (kinda long)

Why the smile you ask?
Due to some family drama, she has dropped out of my wedding totally. I was not going to tell her to do it, but I am glad she made the decision. I regretted asking her when I did last year when I got engaged. She hasn't been happy for me at all through this process, she has caused nothing but grief and aggravation for me, my family and my BP. She is always about the 'what's in it for me' Do you know she even b*tched to me that I didn't pay enough attention to her at my shower. Uh, had 40 guests to attend to, I can't just sit and talk to you all afternoon!! DUH!

Is it weird for me to feel relieved?

Does anyone know what happens to her dress that is waiting for her at Bridal reflections? She paid 1/2 for a deposit, will I be responsible for the rest of it?

If so, does anyone need a Bill Levkoff classics dress in euro red, size 8?

Edited: She will be responsible for her dress. FYI the bride will not be held liable. She will forfeit her deposit, and they actually thanked me for letting them know.

That is some good stress relief. Feel relieved, and you didn't even have to get your 'hands dirty' doing it.

BR will probably hold you responsible for the gown. Maybe you can negotiate soething with them?

Well glad to see a and as far as BR, I would call and ask. Maybe since she paid the deposit but didnt take the product, that's that? (Wishful thinking)

Funny to read your post because I am going through some similar wedding drama!!!!!!!! The only difference is I have to give one of my b-maids the boot. But like you I am relieved and happy along with the rest of my BP. Anyway I called my bridal store today and they said they need a written letter from the b-maid releasing the dress (because I need the dress I have someone else lined up to wear it) and then get the other girl down there for measurements to make sure the dress fits. I don't care if I have to give her the money back she put down it is worth every penny.

I am soo tired of the drama!! Bridal reflections did tell me the same thing, but I don't think I am going to replace her. Now my party is uneven again
