What is a unique and thoughtful gift to bring over the 1st time we visit??

I dont know how unique and it is winter now... BUT when I had a housewarming someone bought me this gorgeous handmade sun catcher with a pretty butterfly. I love it!

can't go wrong with beautiful bo-k of flowers. just make sure to get them in a vase (they might not have one)

I have given a glass cake dome with boxes of cake mix and a few cans of frosting. Always a hit. The cake dome doubles as a punch bowl.

I usually give some type of gift basket when I go to a housewarming.

how about something cool to hang on their wall, a little bamboo plant (will last FOREVER with almost no care) or a nice framed pic of themselves to hang.

zuzu!!! have you forgotten the cool thing that george & mary do in 'it's a wonderful life' when they bring the gifts to bless martini's house!! you can do it as a blessing for their new life living together.

bread--so that the home may never know hunger
salt--so that life always has flavor
wine--to celebrate good times

bring them a cute gift--but i think doing that would be so touching for them.

(or maybe i'm just cheesey! LOL)

S'mores maker, they are always fun, wine works well too or a bamboo plant they are supposed to be good luck
