My MOH quit

25 days to the wedding and I'm MOHless.

It was actually a mutual agreement since she really pissed me off by getting mad at me for cancelling my shower. Umm...my mother was in the hospital on oxygen and an NG tube after having complications from surgery. My exMOH actually told me that it wasn't appropriate for me to put myself first in this instance.

She lives in VA and her baby's due in April and I know she had to travel but she had her baby shower the day after mine anyway, so it wasn't a wasted trip. I felt bad doing it but, come on. And she calls me selfish.

Okay...vent wayyyy over. Now I have some thinking to do. Good thing I didn't print the programs.

Wow!!!!..... I think she has her priorities out of order with your mom being sick at the time I would think she would understand.....

No matter what you will still get to be with the one you Love your FH so keep your head up!

to me, shes the selfish one!!! of course u wanted a shower, but u were more concerned about your mom over a shower. what does the other members of the bridal party think about all of this?

OMG!!! I'm really sorry! I think you were not being selfish at all.

Many to you!!! I can be your MOH . I really think you made the right choice and were not selfish at ALL!! It was your mom for goodness sake! I would have been worried sick too!

Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones??? :(
Maybe you can work it out with her?

You did the right thing! Family is more important...especially that its your mother!!!

She was the one being selfish...you can always make time to have a shower...but spending time with your mother is priceless!
