I think it's fine!! Many people nowadays have different people walk them down the aisle for different reasons. I see nothing wrong with it

It's your wedding and you obvisously want them by your side for a good reason, a reason in which nobody needs to know but you and them. Don't even tell people if you are worried about it, which you shouldn't be.

I totally agree! It is your wedding and I think having you mom & sis walk you down the aisle is sooo sweet & special!

i think its great!!! nowadays people are having other people who are important in their life walk them down

people look at me weird when they hear i dont have a Maid/matron of honor

instead i chose my only sibling who is my older brother to stand by me.....so who cares if they look at you weird...

I'm having my older bro and my mom are walking me down... I don't have a relationship with my dad... never did and never will at this point....

not everyone is fortunate to have their fathers give them away... so for someone to look at you like you have a third head for decision.. is inconsiderate and disrespectful... especailly since they probably don't know your reasons.

so ignore them... it's our wedding and we can do what ever the hell we want to do!
