My mom asked me if I wanted those little bells that people ring to make the new couple kiss.

I was like...

'um, no.'

She goes...

'why, they're cute!'

I go...

'yeah but people always fcuking ring them when the couple finally gets to sit down and eat. You know nothing comes between me and food. I spent too fcuking long planning an all-vegetarian menu for some @sshole to ruin my feeding time with a bell'

ugh the clinking was so annoyinggg.. we were in the middle of eating dinner and literally had food in our mouths and people just kept clinking away! then in the middle of dinner, dh got out of his chair for like 2 minutes to talk to somebody and everybody started clinking even though THEY SAW i was by myself... and my mil came over and gave me a kiss lol.

luckily we only had clinking happen to us once. & it was as soon as we both finally had food in our mouth.
oh well. we kissed & dealt with it.

to be fair it was started by some of my married friends who I am sure we did that to at their wedding.
