My Mom Bought Her Dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W/ PICS (edited w/ pic of mom)!

I went with my mom tonight to Totally You in Bellmore. First off, they are FANTASTIC there! We were there for almost two hours, as a walk in, and Michelle was SUPER helpful. We showed the lady pictures of the two dresses my mom was choosing from over the weekend, then she started pulling some other ones.

She put the first one on and it was GORGEOUS! It was perfect for her, just enough glitz, but not overwhelming, and very flattering on her 'problem areas.' She tried on about 5 or 6 more after this one, but we both agreed, this was it

She tried it on in black, but she knew I didn't want her in black. So we looked at the swatches and picked out 'Mushroom.' You all saw how great my mom looks in brown, well this is more like a 'latte' type color.....it's a lighter brown, more on the taupe side. Then I asked Michelle if she had any dresses from that designer in the Mushroom color just so we could see. All of sudden she comes out with the dress my mom was ordering in mushroom!!!!! She said it was someone else's dress that had just come on (so obviously my mom couldn't try it on), but it was perfect to see THAT dress in THAT color!

The first is the stock pic, the second picture is of a different dress, but in the color we ordered, and the last is of mom in the sample dress (which was too big on her ) . (For those of you that read this earlier, I didn't think I had a picture of it......but I DO!)

So without further delay........my mom's dress!

aww its beautiful!! im glad she picked the mushroom color, call me old fashioned but i dont like MOB's wearing black on their daughters wedding day

Oh believe me, she knew she wasn't going to wear black, that's just the color sample they had. But I've told her from the beginning no black, because everyone wears black to weddings and I want her to stand out.
