my mom got me something for one of my DIYs today!!
yay, i am so happy! my mom called me today to tell me she was at the store and she saw 'ball' 4 oz. jars there!! and she bought 11 cases!! ![]()

we are using them for our placecards! my mom is going to be making homemade blueberry jam. (she makes it every year after we go blueberry picking upstate) and it will look like this. (one per couple though).
i am excited b/c all we could find were the 6oz. and they seemed to be too big to us. they would prob take up too much space on the table for our 200+ guests.we couldnt even find the proper 4 oz. ones on the internet (they needed to be a certain type) i was also happy b/c it was nice that she went out of her way to get them, and she offered to pay for them which was really nice, since FH and i are footing most of the bill.
This is what the place cards will look like, only with purple ribbon and periwinkle (or lighter shade of purple) table number on top.
by the way...i can't take credit for the idea, i found it on here from another bride. but i found it a long time ago and knew i wanted to do it right away, i think i have posted it before.
