My Mom is going to KILL me..

I am fortunate to have my parents pay for my wedding (I really do know how lucky I am). Anyway, so after searching and searching for a 'different' wedding dress I (through the recomendation of a co-worker) found Carmela's Bridal Garden in Huntington. So I ordered a custom made dress everything was going fine, until I starting having nightmares about hating my dress when it came in. Over the weekend I was poking around on ebay and found a dress that looked amazing in the photos. Like a DUMMY I bid on it. And won. Now I have two dresses coming! After my mom put down a 50% deposit on the custom one... Keeping my fingers crossed that the ebay dress looks horrid and my first dress is GORGEOUS. Sorry just had to tell that story, my bridesmaid seemed to get a kick out of it.

When all is said and done with shipping it will be $150. So I know there's a great possibily that I just wasted $150! I will look for the picture.

Alright..thats not soo bad...

I just feel like such a bonehead... Now I'm worried I'll love them both and then have to explain THAT to my mom!

I think she'll be okay if I REALLY love it, but I will never hear the end of it for the rest of my life!

You can always sell the eBay dress back on eBay when you get it and you may be able to get the full price that you paid for it or you can wear both dresses (one for the ceremony and pictures and one for the reception).

150 isn't bad!! Hey, worst case scenario- you have a dress for the ceremony & reception! Most girls would KILL for that opportunity!

Yikes! You never know, maybe the ebay one won't look as good as your first one or won't fit right. But I agree that if you love them equally, wear the first one. At least it's only $150. When I first saw your post, I was thinking you spent another $2000 or something. And you can always sell it back on e-bay, or even to another bride on here!

$150 isn't bad. As long as you like one of them, I am sure she won't kill you. Now if you order a third one..............that's another story.

My headache is comming back. The Carmellas Dress was my asprin!!!!!!!!!!! Like I said wear the ebay dress for the ceremony and change into the Carmella's dress for the reception! Even though you drive me crazy your bridesmaid loves you! I know I will give you a migrane opposed to the headache you have blessed me with :) Everything will work out :)
