yesterday, we get into the usual argument that i am asking for too many expensive things at my shower and that im not going to give my guests any choices...im really tired of hearing this from her, especially bc there are TONS of things i want but didn't add out of respect for my guests and their wallets..
can someone please look at my registries and tell me im not going overboard, and that i have a good range of prices!
thanks!

Re: my mom is so ridic!
seriously.. I put really expensive things on my registry and then medium priced and the dirt cheap items.. My registry was really big on purpose .. I got some expensive stuff and lots of meduim and cheap stuff. But I still added all the expensive items because I will get a discount and you never know, someone may get it for you! Add whatever you want.. poeple dont have to get it for you

I know you've posted your registry before because I remember seeing it, and you definitely didn't have anything overly expensive from what I can remember, it was a good range of price points. I know what you mean too, I've taken off SO many random things that would be 'nice' to have, but were expensive or really not necessities because I wanted to be considerate of the guests.
There must have been something in the air, because yesterday my mom and nana were giving me shiz over my pots. Apparently my nana saw an ad for Kohl's or something where a Farberware set was like 99, and she was really pushing them on me, and I had to say that we researched our pots a lot (which we actually did ) and we chose the Calphalon set because it was the one best suited for our needs, and they wouldn't hear it because they thought it was too expensive! Said that the Farberware is fine for an 'everyday' set...like Calphalon is All Clad or something! Somehow I feel this registry was for my health and everyone is just going to get what they want anyways...glad BBB has a pretty lenient return policy.

I am having the same issue. No one has bought my pots because I registered for Copper Core ones, but you know what, so what, then I will slowly buy them myselfs. I would rather not get them, then get expensive (but less expensive) pots with aluminum that I won't really be happy with.
Luckily my mom agrees with me on this.
