My Mom is the cutest!

The other day my mother calls me (we work together, just in different departments) and asks me 'Do you want to know about your shower or do you want to be a part of the planning'? It actually brought a tear to my eye. She also asked me if I wanted to pick the place. I told her I wanted to be suprised with the date, time, and place but if she has any questions she wanted to ask, that was ok. I heard a relief in her voice. I wouldn't want to take that away from her and my sister (I am the first to get married in my entire family in 17 years).

I just asked her since I am getting married in the fall, that can she do the blue, yellow and white gingham for the shower.

She laughed.


THEN one of the girls at work got a little snippy- 'You DON'T want to suprised?' I said, well don't most brides get a shower?....and I know my mother, sister and best friend have been planning since the day I got engaged.



People drive me nuts!!!
