My mom just hung up on me

Seriously?! Who hangs up on a person?!



So, my mom calls me to tell me one of my dad's cousin's did not get an invitation to the shower. I said ok, it could've gotten lost in the mail, things happen. I double checked the shower list and she was on there. Then my mom tells me that she doesn't even know if she can go anyway because she may have to work. Why are you stressing out about it then if she may not even go?! So, then she tells me that she wishes she knew more information about the shower and this and that. I was like Well, mom it was all the girls who are doing this. It's actually a chance for you just to relax not be stressed. I told her she was just a guest and she should just enjoy herself and not have to worry about anything and that I have 1 MOH and 6 BM's who are taking care of everything.

She hung up on me after that and now won't answer my calls. Is it just me or is my mother being childish?

Well what kills me is that my shower is a week from today and she wants to be included now. She was like people are asking me questions that I don't know the answer to! I tell her to have them call my MOH.

ahhh I got it. Ok that totally stinks!

She really shouldn't stress you out. Seems like she is feeling left out and needed to vent. She should really be in touch with your BP though.

ITA. I know they are trying to let her relax and enjoy but maybe she wanted to be included.

She still is being childish though.
