So she, my father and brother moved to Florida last year and I stayed here all by my lonesome. We are all very close so it was hard but I have gotten accustomed to it. Since I started planning the wedding I have been sharing everything with her, over the phone and online.
So last night I'm talking to her and she goes 'so do you miss me not being there?' It kind of came out of nowhere and she continues to say how she never wanted to leave before I got married but it just happened that way.
I was struggling to keep from bawling on the phone..It's hard not having her there and we both feel it but I know I just have to make the best of it.

Awwww! I am sure it's hard on all you. I know the feeling. My Dad's in Boca and I wish he lived closer.

awww it sounds like you both have a special relationship. Maybe she can come visit alone a few times to help you with planning and do Mom/daughter things together.

I am one of the few on here that can totally understand and sympatize w/ur situation. my parents are back in Israel. they havent even met FH yet we do same, we talk for hrs on the phone and i send pix of things I get via email. but its so not enough. every day I wish she was here so hang in there take solace that FL isnt as far as Israel is hehe

Yea I'm sure by next year she will be able to do that. This was the main reason I actually didn't look here for my dress. I decided to start looking for one when I went down a couple months ago, but I had no intention of buying...but after I found this dress and loved it and she loved it too, I knew it was ok that I hadn't looked here because that was all that mattered.

My mom is only in the Poconos and I cry sometimes after we've wedding talked ourselves to sleep on the phone. We mama's girls have to hang in there though, be strong!
