My Mom needs your prayers

Hello ladies,

These last few months have been very stressful for us, especially my Mom. She's been diagnosed with endometrial cancer.

There have been set backs with test and waiting for these damn results. I'm so angry I can scream. Now she has to get her schedule for radiation and chemo, which will be for 6 weeks straight. This ofcourse will start happening before the wedding. The Dr. says she'll be able to dance at my wedding, but may be a little weak.

She's already been joking about buying a wig for the big day. We were picking them out together yesterday. At least she's keeping her sense of humor, but I know we have a long, tough road ahead of us. I'm just hoping she gets some relief soon.

I know we have to be positive, but right now it's so hard to think that way. All I do is cry. I don't do it in front of her though, I have to be strong for her.

Please pray for my mother to get through this.

Your mom sounds like a strong woman, being positive around her will help as difficult as that probably is. Thought and prayers.

My cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months before her wedding. And she had a mastectomy 2 weeks later. She started chemo 3 days after her wedding. She will be in the middle of her 16 week stint. Her mom went with her to look for wigs last week. I am glad to hear her doctor said she will be able to dance, I was worried my cousin would miss my wedding, because she would be too sick.

Oh no! That is horrible, my prayers are with your family and your mom for a fast a painless recovery.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this, and your mom. I will keep both of you in my prayers. I know how tough it is, I have had a very ill mom, for 2 yrs. Its tough, and I remember crying a lot, sitting on the floor of my closet, so no one would see me.. Hang in there, it does get better. If you need to talk 'm here for you.
