My mom rocks!
So my mom had been working 3 jobs for the longest time, no days off, and just recently the pharmacy that she was working at closed down. She's now down to 2 jobs and barely making enough to survive.
We did not expect her to get us anything for our engagement party but she insisted that she was going to get us something. We told her that just being there was enough for us.
Well, our engagement party came and went and we did not get anything from my mom and we completely COMPLETELY understood.
Fast forward to last night and my mom asks if she can see FH and I together, she wanted to give us something. I said okay.
She brings in 3 GIGANTIC bags full of stuff!
OMG!
She got us so much kitchen stuff we can now take off half the stuff from our registry! Cooking utensils, a colander, cook books, knives, juicers, cheese grater, broom and dust pan, pot holders, towels, a recipe holder, baking dishes. So much stuff that I can't even list it all here!
She must have spent at least 2 weeks pay on this stuff!
She did NOT have to do this but she says that it's not only an engagement gift, but a house warming gift. (We're moving in 4 weeks.)
I can not thank her enough and can not believe she did this for us!!!
