If anyone wants to make it...here it is. I just made some for FH's mom's Thankgiving this weekend and they are all waiting my arrival just for this! Enjoy! Baklava
4 cups chopped walnuts in bowl
2 tablespoons of sugar in bowl
¼ cup of plain bread crumbs in bowl
¼ teaspoon ground cloves in bowl
1 tablespoon cinnamon in bowl
whole cloves
honey
mix all
1 pound filo dough
1/2 pound unsalted butter (2 sticks) melted
Directions:
Dip brush in butter, brush pan. Butter each layer as put in. 5 on bottom, sprinkle handful of mix then 2 thin or 1 thick layer. Use all filo. Save a few. Cover top with filo and cut edges. Butter the edges a little and put 4.5 filo on top. Butter each, and then butter on top. Cut all, the butter top and put cloves in each piece and sprinkle water on top. Bake at 350 until golden or 45 minutes. After…1 cup of sugar and one cup of water…boil. Then add one cup of honey and spoon over baklava once it is cooled off.
