Re: My Mom's dress
Thanks! I helped her pick it out. She isnt used to wearing something so fitted. When she had to have alterations done, that it didnt fit perfect , she complained that I made her buy it. Now you tell me, could any of YOU ladies force your mothers to buy ANYTHING? Nobody held a gun to her head!

Re: My Mom's dress
Thanks. All of the colors of the day should mesh nicely. I am not one for matching as I much prefer coordinating. My BP is wearing navy and the flowers are in the purple/blue/pink family. FH's mom is wearing 'eggplant' though I havent seen it yet. If I ask her to see it she may think I am being nosey. If I dont ask her to see it, she will think I don't give a poop. Any suggestions?

Re: My Mom's dress
Very pretty! My mom picked out her dress with her friend and now thinks it's too 'young' for her- which I almost agree- I don't like strappless on her but with the jacket she looks great!! Your mom's dress is very pretty and it sounds like they will go together well- honestly, they won't really be that many pictures with all of the women together. Mainly moms with you and your FH.
Maybe you can say to your FMIL, 'It's so exciting that my mom's dress is almost ready, I can't wait to see both of you all dressed up! How's everything going with your outfit? Everyone is going to look so good....' but in your own words and not sounding like an after school special!!
