my moms dress... w/ poll

So we think we found a dress for my mom to wear.. its a little pricey, but it looks so nice on her... the dilemma... we tried it on in a chocolate brown, looks really great... however i'm getting married march 30, and my colors are celadon, with lavender, ivory accents....

She can order the dress in other colors, but the only one we really liked is called 'heather' and its in the purple family... so this one would go with my colors, but i'm not sure if it would look as nice on my mom as the brown.

We're going to go back to the store and see if they have a dress in heather for her to try on, to see how that color looks on her, but if they don't have it... should she get the chocolate or go for the heather? Does it matter if she doesnt necessarily complement all my colors? The BM's will be in celadon green....

Go for the brown! That's the one she likes.

Your mom does not have to compliments the bridal party.

I think the MOB and MOG should wear whatever dress / color they want, whether they match the bridal party (same color), compliment the bridal party, or look totally different.

They won't be in the same pictures, so it won't really matter!

MOB doesn't have to compliment the wedding party My mom's dress was Eggplant and my MIL's dress was slate blue..the my colors were burgandy and champaign.

I say so for the brown...as long as she looks beautiful

I wish I could remember the designer to find and post the dress.. oh well...
