My mother bought her dress - store RAVE!
The first place we went was Dina's on South Oyster Bay Rd in Plainview. My mom found a dress and fell in love, it was exactly what she was looking for. But she didn't feel comfortable not looking anywhere else for comparison, so we were honest and said we love it but want to look around. Dina and everyone else that was helping us were all so nice. Dina said, 'mark my words, you'll be back' after we told her where we were going.
Needless to say, she was right. We went to the three stores in Woodbury Commons (Meika, Tellulah and Boutique Elle) and not one had a dress that my mother liked. One came close but it was $2000 more than the one in Dina's.
Going back to Dina's, it was so easy to see and feel the difference. The stores in Woodbury were nice, but they just weren't welcoming like Dina's were, not to mention the prices were much higher. We sort of felt like the Woodbury stores were doing us a favor by helping us, where as at Dina's, everyone was just so nice and cared that we were there. My friend's mother bought her dress at Boutique Elle and had a great experience so I guess it all depends, but I just wanted to rave about Dina's.
