will not tell me how i should dress for my shower because she doesnt want to give ANYTHING away. so i keep telling her i want to wear a dress. and she keeps telling me that whatever i show up in that day will be fine, that i never dress like a slob.
im thinking of buying a really cute dress, but i really want to be dressed properly for the location. what should i do?????
oh yeah and one of her comments was 'what if its a picnic shower'? lol mom im gunna kill you.

lol I would buy a dress make her or one of your bm's hold on to it and that way you can wear what you want but change into the dress when you get there. This way you dont really have to stress about the outfit just make sure you have your hair and makeup done constantly lol.

I think that's a great idea! Maybe even give them a makeup bag just in case you're not wearing any or want to touch up.

I just bought a dress for my shower yesterday and gave it to my mom to hold on to for the day of. She's not telling me anything, except that it's not going to be outdoors - I was worried about it being too formal. That's all I got, and I figured it wouldn't be outdoors anyway because it's going to be chilly out around the time that I think the shower will be.
Anyhow, the point is, buy a dress and give it to someone to hold on to for you and have them bring it. So no matter what you show up in, you can change
