He's in first grade and he made me a rocking chair out of wood clothespins and wrote on it ' I love you mommy' in paint. He gets so proud of himself when he makes me surprise gifts in school. And then he looks at me and says ' do you like it mommy'? I told him it was the BEST gift in the whole world. Just wanted to share.. ;-)

I look forward to getting this homemade gifts someday. I still have a clothes pin magnet that my best friend's little girl made me 10 years ago, and the 'emerald' ring that her son gave me for Mother's Day many years ago. I love that kind of stuff.
