My narcissistic side was wondering if...

I have a recognizable LIW name....I mean I'm pretty new, so I was wondering how many posts it really takes before people know who you are...

Maybe its a left brain right brain thing, but I recognize your chat avatar pic before your name, so keep that pic up!

I think the pics are just as important as the name.

I used to recognize ladies only by their avatar pic, but then once I was yelled at (hehe) for changing my pic so many times and people forgetting who I was, I started making a small mental note of people and their names.

I recognize you ladies, so don't fret.

If worse comes to worse, and you change your avatar pic, I at least remember a little more when I click on your profile.

I agree that the picture helps too. I also think once you go to a few of the GTG than more & more people put your face to your name and more people recognize your name.

I agree with Christine, Cindy, and Hollie. Plus the more you post the more recognizable you become. The avatar pic def helps trigger the memory!!

The pics do help, but I defintely know when there is someone new on the boards whose name I don't recognize.

For people that don't post as often, I recognize their avatar pic first. For those that I chat with alot, I definitely recognize their name before the pic.

I am new at this too...although I have been married for just over a year now ...but I like this web site .it is fun..........gives you something to do when your husband is away...and lets you share pics...........you and you FH are a great looking couple...lots of luck with eachother

I have been wondering this myself - great question, thanks for asking it! As for recognizing others, I have found that I identify people with their avatar pic and when they change it, I don't realize who they are right away. Makes me reluctant to change my pic..
