my neighbors...

are really old and they've been married for years. He's really sick-and all she does is yell and scream at him because shes stuck taking care of him. I hear it across the driveways...


And im like...is this what I get to look forward to??Do any of you ever think of the far future? Like how its going to be when youre in your 70s?! Ahh!!

For me it's more like, When do I decide that I'm 'old'? Like, at what age do I magically decide that I need to wear support hose and elastic waist pants? Or carry a huge pocketbook full of coupons? Or cut my hair short into the 'grandma' hairdo????

Those are questions that really boggle me

I think of it sometimes... my aunt always yells at my uncle that she has to be stuck taking care of him now that he went blind..I feel so bad for him..especially becaue he STILL tries to do almost everything himself..I hope I never get like that

i hope you dont mind im crashing... i work in the health care field.. and mainly with the elderly... and this is all you see... which then leads to 'granny dropping' i know but its really sad.. these old people get dropped off at the nursing homes and noone comes back.. its horrible... i have a set of grandparents that are still so in love its gross..hahaha they hold hands and kiss and call each other 'babe' i hope that i can be like that!

I think that its really sad when 1 treats the other like that... Fh's grandma is always complaining that she has to do everything for her husband since hes now in a wheelchair... And shes always always complaining about her aches and pains .... I realized that I dont wanna get old.... whose down for stayin young?!!? LOL

I am definitely down for staying young. I've decided to call off my (25th) birthday this year. I wont even miss the presents. It'll be an even exchange for staying under a quarter of a century forever!

I honestly dont know....its sad. I have a collage that I made(i used to have tons of pics in my old bedroom) anyway it has a big button on it that says '21 TODAY!!!!!!'

anyway, the collage is NOW in my little computer area office space thingy and Im like holy crap how come Im not 21??

Think about it... we'll be on the other side of 20. I dont think I like that. Not that I'm obsessed with looks or aging or anything. I'm totally not but I just dont like the sound of 25. I remember 22 as being my cutest year. Why does time have to fly by so quickly?

HAHAHAHA!!! Yeah the only difference with me is that if I nagged him, he wasnt around he was all the way out in Levittown, now its like Youre annoying me and youre in the other room!!!
