My New Home -- With Pix!

I'm officially in contract as of today! I'm so excited but nervous bc the closing date on my current house is 12/15 and the closing date on teh house we're buying is 1/20! Hello homelessness!

I'm so psyched though! Just thought I would share.

Nice house but the 'death cliff' confuses me and why bye bye kitchen countertop? LOL ... I enjoyed your captions!

It's in Nesconset, which is funny bc we weren't even looking there. We spent over a year looking for homes in the same 4 areas, and the first house we saw in Nesconset, we bought.

I can't even think about a housewarming right now. Too busy thinking about having a home! Maybe a Valentines Housewarming?

. I had those quotes in there for my mom bc I had explained all of my issues with the house right before I sent the pictures. The 'death cliff' is crazy actually. There is supposed to be stairs or a banister in the living room so that you just don't FALL into the den. I mean, I'm not concerned about ME falling down the 'cliff' but I have a blind dog and a million young nieces and nephews! We'll have to put a wall up there or something when we move in. And the 'bye bye' is just to say goodbye at the end of the slideshow. I never claimed to be normal.

Yeah, most of them in that area were built around the same time and are very similar. Unfortunately, mine is right next to brand new homes so it pales in comparison to them. And unfortunately, Shana has spent more time having fun in that house than I have!

LMAO! We were wondering if they ripped the closet doors off bc they were in poor condition or what....

What a freaking wack job! Why would anyone not put closet doors on???
