It should have instructions if you need to do anything. For mine I had to season it by washing it and drying it in the oven then rubbing oil on it with a paper towel before the very first use .. but mine is a different brand. Also - mine was already seasoned and they still wanted me to do this before the first use. Enjoy it!!

that is a wonderful color- I would have slept with it too
