They are so cute- I had turtles that started that size- just want to give you the 411 on them:

Those are red-eared sliders- they live forever and ever and they get super big. Supposedly they grown as fast as the space they live in allows. Meaning that the bigger their tank, the bigger they get.

When they get old enough you can feed them live feeder goldfish for a treat.. gross- but good for their diet.

I feed mine gold fish and they are sooo funny when trying to catch them. They also love the dried baby shrimp.

They are cute- looking at those pics makes me sad.
I had 4. First I got 2, then one died, and I got 3 more. They were the size of quarters when i got them. They get huge! I finally had to get rid of them when they outgrew the 6 foot long tank they were in. They were each about a 1 to 1-1/2 feet long.
They got really hard to take care of. I loved them though- Fluffy, Snowflake, Pepe, and Magic Marker.
I gave them to an aquarium.

Sunny, who did you give them to? Mine is not that big as I still have them in a 20gallon long tank but I soon need to buy them a bigger tank. Hubby says if they get too big we can't keep them. I love mine, don't know if I will be able to let go.
