Just wanted to share some pictures of my new puppy Nena. I adopted her from el faro de los animales. I went down there to help out at the sanctuary and fell in love! She's the best! Please check out the web site. You can choose the English version.
It's very sad in Puerto Rico. Dogs are treated horribly down there. They are poisoned with hot dogs and anti freeze. They were thrown off a bridge a couple of months ago and some of them were still alive at the bottom. Very Awful!
Noone adopts down there so we are bringing back dogs to New York. In June we are taking 20 back so they can be adopted.

Wow that is so admirable of you! It is always great to adopt and rescue if possible I am now a big believer and supporter of that - we got our puppy at a shelter

Aww, she's so cute!! Oh, that is such an incredibly generous thing for you to do...what a good heart you have. That's so horrible. I hate to hear stories like that.
