If it's not a surprise...is it ok to arrive early and be there to greet the guests???

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be there when the guests arrive as long as whoever is hosting your shower knows you know about it, which I am assuming they do. My sister lived in Florida but got married up here, so her shower was a planned visit and not a surprise, and no one pretended it was. Have a great time!

Everyone in my family knows its not a surprise....I didnt really want a surprise shower, because I hate hate hate surprises.

Then it's totally fine. If it is not a surprise you should be there first to greet everyone.

I am the same way...I told them ahead of time please dont make me ACT surprised, i hate that!! LOL I think you should go in and greet the guests, why not, right....they know you know :)

I think it's fine!! Whatever you want. I arrived at my not surprise shower since I wanted to greet all the men and have a drink with them first who were hanging out at my parents house..then DH brought me to the shower---a lot of people thought it was a surprise too.

My shower isn't a surprise either. My mom says I'm an invited guest. I do plan to go a little later..maybe 15 or 20 minutes. No one will yell surprise or anything...but my mom still wants me to have an entrance.
