My number went up.....updated again!!

i don't know what to think anymore......my numbers went from 41 to 63 and now to 138.

but that is EXTREMELY low if you count my cycle from my last AF...

but my doctor is optimistic (i'm not, in fear of being let down). he wants me to do more bloodwork on monday and, depending on how it comes back, he may schedule a sono.

he says he cannot schedule a sonogram until the number is at least 1500....before that, he says you can not even see a sac.

not knowing is torture....

Yay! I know you're not out of the water yet, but I'm glad things are looking better. Can you push for the sono?

Well, how far along does HE think you are based on those #'s? We saw a sac when I was 5w2d. I don't remember what my #'s were but I know my dr said he wasn't relying just on that. You're not spotting or anything, right?

i just got the numbers back and they went down to 128....

i have an appointment thursday to discuss my 'options'.

very disappointing, but i somehwat expected it.

does anyone know how long it take for the pg hormone to leave your body after a m/c?...also, how long before i get my af again. time to jump back on the wagon!!

Im sorry this happened to you. Just FYI. I MC'd March 6th (last year) and got pregnant with Jeremy April 24th. I didnt have a D&C my body took care of it naturally. Best of luck to you and stay strong!

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Having been through it myself, it just breaks my heart to hear of anyone else ever having to go through it.

When I miscarried in December, I had a blood draw on Dec. 13, and my level was 128. 5 days later it came down to zero. Usually, they say it takes 4-6 weeks to get AF again, but I ovulated REALLY soon after the miscarriage, and ended up getting pregnant again, just about 10 days after the miscarriage, so you can conceive right after. Dr.'s recommend to wait because it's harder to determine your dates when you conceive right after a miscarriage, but there is no statistical evidence that doing so will increase your chances of miscarriage again.

I'm so sorry things have to go this way for you - I know the emotions you must be going through right now and how diffcult a time this will be for you and your DH. I had my D&C October 6th - I opted for that just because, personally, I thought it would get my body back to 'normal' sooner - and got AF back 4 weeks to the day and it was normal. We started trying again after my 2nd cycle and got PG again right away. I wish you lots of during this time!
