my old cat died today :(

its so upsetting.
it was DH's cat... when i moved in with him she was our kitty.... anyway, so when his Ex came for the rest of the stuff she'd been storing there, she took the cat with her!
anyway, so i didnt care too much b/c i wasnt so attached to her. DH was though. he was upset.

anyway, so she killed the cat!!!! on Sunday she did something like spraypainting a chair and the cat inhaled it all and had a bad reaction. she sneezed all night and the next day.. then her face swell twice its size and she started to bleed from her nose. also her back legs werent functioning.
anyway, she died this morning. its pretty upsetting. I called DH at work and told him. he was upset.

moral of the story i guess is dont spray paint your cat

i just feel bad that she had to suffer so much over someones stupidity.
she saw 8 different vets since Sunday.
im glad she isnt sufferng anymore.
i think she was around 11, so at least she lived a long-ish life.

I can't believe anyone would do that. I am so careful not to put my cats in danger. It would have been so easy to just put the cat in another room.

I'm sorry for your loss. How could that girl be so stupid...and LAZY? It takes like two minutes to put an animal in a different room if you're doing something with chemicals or paint. I hate when other people/animals get hurt because of someone's inability to stop for one minute and think! Sorry, I don't mean to judge...but I get very upset when animal deaths are totally preventable.
